MarkRead 隐私政策
MarkRead 不收集你的任何个人信息，也没有服务器。我们看不到你读什么、读到哪里、文件叫什么名字。
开启跨设备功能后，相关数据保存在你自己的 iCloud 私有空间里。按照 Apple 的架构，开发者无法访问用户的 iCloud 私有数据库——这不是我们的承诺，是我们做不到。
一、我们不做的事
- 不收集姓名、邮箱、电话、位置或任何身份信息
- 不含任何第三方 SDK、统计、广告或崩溃分析组件
- 不运营任何服务器，App 不会向我们发送任何数据
- 不追踪你的使用行为，不生成用户画像
- 不读取、不上传你未主动加入「阅读集」的文件
- 不修改你的原始文档目录（源目录只读）
二、数据保存在哪里
1. 只在你的设备上
以下内容从不离开本机：你打开过的文件路径与授权书签、阅读偏好（字体、字号、主题、语言）、界面状态。
2. 你自己的 iCloud 私有数据库（仅在开启「跨设备续读」后）
为了让你在另一台设备上接着读，以下内容会同步到你 Apple 账户下的私有 CloudKit 数据库：

我们如实说明后两项包含文档内容片段（标题与小标题），因为跨设备定位必须依赖它们。正文不在其中。
3. 你自己的 iCloud Drive（仅对你主动加入「阅读集」的目录）
「阅读集」的作用是让 Mac 上的一批文档能在 iPhone 上打开。实现方式是把这些文档复制一份完整内容到 MarkRead 在你 iCloud Drive 中的应用容器。这些副本你可以在「文件」App 里直接看到和管理。
只有你显式加入阅读集的目录会被复制。原始目录始终只读，不会被修改或删除。
三、我们能看到什么
什么都看不到。上述所有数据都存放在你 Apple 账户下的私有空间。CloudKit 私有数据库与 iCloud Drive 应用容器的访问权仅属于你本人，开发者没有任何技术手段读取其中的内容。
四、第三方
MarkRead 不集成任何第三方服务。唯一涉及的外部方是 Apple：iCloud 用于同步，App Store 用于购买。这两者分别适用 Apple 隐私政策。
购买与订阅完全由 App Store 处理。我们不接触也不存储你的支付信息——我们能知道的只有「这台设备是否有有效的购买」这一个布尔值，且该判断由系统在本地完成。
五、儿童隐私
MarkRead 适用于所有年龄（分级 4+），但并非面向儿童设计的产品，也未加入 App Store 的「儿童」类别。由于本 App 不收集任何个人信息，也不存在针对 13 岁以下儿童的信息收集行为。
六、你的控制权
- 停止同步：在系统设置中关闭 MarkRead 的 iCloud 权限，或在 App 内退出跨设备功能
- 删除云端数据：在 系统设置 ▸ Apple 账户 ▸ iCloud ▸ 管理账户存储 中删除 MarkRead 的数据
- 删除阅读集副本：在「文件」App 中直接删除 MarkRead 容器内的文件
- 删除全部：卸载 App 会移除所有本地数据；云端数据按上述方式删除
由于我们不持有你的任何数据，无需向我们提交任何形式的数据删除或访问请求。
七、政策变更
如果本政策发生实质性变更，我们会更新本页顶部的日期，并在 App 更新说明中注明。

二、資料儲存在哪裡
1. 只在你的裝置上

MarkRead Privacy Policy
MarkRead collects no personal information and operates no servers. We cannot see what you read, where you left off, or what your files are named.
When cross-device features are enabled, data is stored in your own private iCloud space. By Apple's architecture, developers cannot access a user's private CloudKit database — this isn't a promise we make, it's something we're unable to do.
1. What we don't do
- No collection of name, email, phone number, location, or any identifying information
- No third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting components
- No servers — the app never sends anything to us
- No usage tracking, no user profiling
- No reading or uploading of files you haven't explicitly added to a Reading Set
- No modification of your source folders (they are opened read-only)
2. Where data lives
2.1 On your device only
Never leaves your machine: file paths and security-scoped bookmarks, reading preferences (font, size, theme, language), and interface state.
2.2 Your private iCloud database (only with cross-device resume enabled)
So you can pick up where you left off on another device, the following syncs to the private CloudKit database under your Apple Account:

We state plainly that two of these contain fragments of your document content (title and heading text), because cross-device positioning depends on them. Body text is not included.
2.3 Your iCloud Drive (only for folders you add to a Reading Set)
A Reading Set makes a group of documents from your Mac openable on your iPhone. It works by copying the complete contents of those documents into MarkRead's application container in your iCloud Drive. You can see and manage these copies directly in the Files app.
Only folders you explicitly add are copied. Source folders remain read-only and are never modified or deleted.
3. What we can see
Nothing. All of the above resides in private storage under your Apple Account. Access to a private CloudKit database and an iCloud Drive application container belongs solely to you; the developer has no technical means of reading its contents.
4. Third parties
MarkRead integrates no third-party services. The only external party involved is Apple: iCloud for sync, the App Store for purchases. Both are governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by the App Store. We never see or store payment information — the only thing we learn is a single boolean, "does this device hold a valid purchase," determined locally by the system.
5. Children's privacy
MarkRead is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages, but it is not designed for children and is not enrolled in the App Store Kids Category. Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is no collection of information from children under 13.
6. Your control
- Stop syncing: turn off iCloud for MarkRead in system settings, or disable cross-device features in the app
- Delete cloud data: System Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ iCloud ▸ Manage Account Storage ▸ MarkRead
- Delete Reading Set copies: delete the files from MarkRead's container in the Files app
- Delete everything: uninstalling removes all local data; cloud data is removed as above
Since we hold none of your data, there is no request to submit to us for access or deletion.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and note it in the app's release notes.
